Admissions

Your neighborhood school is assigned by the Department of Planning and Construction and the Long Range Planning Committee and is approved by the Board of Education. Boundaries are subject to change to accommodate growth and to balance enrollment. Use the DCSD School Locator Map to find your address-assigned school.

All new students who wish to attend Flagstone as their address-assigned school will need to complete an Online Registration Application.

Online Registration Information

All students who wish to attend Flagstone Elementary but are not within the attendance zone will need to put in a request to open-enroll. This request is not a guaranteed admission.

Open-Enrollment Information

If you are open-enrolled at a neighborhood school or attend a DCSD-Authorized Charter School, but would like to return to the neighborhood school associated with your address for the next school year (26/27), you must file an intent to return form by January 5, 2026.

If you miss this date, you must open-enroll for a chance to return to your address-assigned school, and admission is not guaranteed.
